15 Most-Decorated WWE Wrestlers To Never Win A World Title

8. Jeff Jarrett

Titles Held: 6 Intercontinental Championships, 1 European Championship, 1 World Tag Team Championship, 1 NWA North American Heavyweight Championship Total Title Days: 424 (363 if not counting NWA title) It€™s a little weird to say that the man who created a €œmajor€ wrestling promotion to compete with WWE (and is creating a second one now) would be one of his former employer€™s most-decorated performers, but that€™s exactly what Jeff Jarrett is. His six Intercontinental Championship reigns are tied with Rob Van Dam for second behind Chris Jericho€™s nine reigns. Jarrett€™s last title reign in WWF is probably his most famous, as he dropped the IC title to Chyna in a €œGood Housekeeping€ hardcore match that involved household items. The story that is often told is that Jarrett€™s contract expired the weekend of No Mercy, where Jarrett was scheduled to lose the title. Jarrett supposedly held out for a ridiculous payout for a one-day contract so he wouldn€™t leave WWF with the title in hand. Chyna€™s victory would mark the first time a woman held a major WWF men€™s title. It€™s worth noting that the NWA North American Heavyweight Championship was part of a brief angle in early 1998 in which Jim Cornette formed an NWA stable in WWF and brought in several wrestlers. The singles title and the NWA World Tag Team Championships were defended and traded on WWF programming, so Jarrett€™s reign could be counted toward his total.
