12. "...hey, hey, hey, goodbye!"
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x32m81_triple-h-vs-y2j-vs-stephanie-mcmaho_news The first three months of 2002 were dominated by the soap opera-like split between Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Once the most dominant couple in professional wrestling, Stephanie's greed and desperate need for attention that caused a irreparable schism between them. With her marriage up in smoke and anger and fury coursing through her, Stephanie turned to an unlikely ally in her war with Triple H: WWE Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho. At WrestleMania X8, she led Y2J to the ring for his title defense against The Game. Unfortunately for the Billion Dollar Princess and her new charge, Triple H emerged from the war as the new champion. The March 25 episode of Monday Night Raw would be a monumental one, not just because of the Brand Extension Draft that would see the splitting of the rosters but also because Triple H would defend his title against his ex-wife Stephanie and former champion Chris Jericho in a Triple Threat match. According to pre-match stipulations, a loss for McMahon would result in her banishment from World Wrestling Entertainment. That is exactly what happened as Triple H pinned his former significant other and successfully retained his title. After the match, Stephanie was dragged from the ring, kicking and screaming as she went. It was the second time in six months that she was forcibly removed from the squared circle. The last? The night after the Alliance lost the "Winner Takes All" match at the 2001 Survivor Series the previous November.
