Well, Austin only technically lasted longer than McMahon because he came in at number and Vince came in at number two. Stone Cold had won the two previous rumbles and was going for three in a row when Russo shenanigans reared their ugly head and the McMahon/Austin Rumble nonsense went down. As noted in the previous entry, Austin did put it a good performance when he came back to the ring but lasting this long under the circumstances is nothing to really shout about. Austin's Rumble appearances in 2001 and 2002 would be much better than this one, even though they only lasted a fraction of the time.
