The meaning of "CM" in the CM Punk name has been hotly debated for years. There's been plenty of feasible explanations, including Chicago Made. But at a UFC Q and A in early January, Punk finally revealed that the CM stands for Chuck Mosley. For those of you who don't know, Mosley is the front man of the band Faith No More. Punk is a huge fan of Faith No More and chose the name as a tribute. However, on a previous occasion, Punk claimed that CM stood for Chick Magnet. It could be a case that he just makes it up as he goes along, with little true meaning attached to the CM abbreviation.
