If history is anything to go off, you can rest assured that CM Punk will be back in WWE one day. The wrestling business is full of people who left the WWE on bad terms. In most cases, they always go back. Even if it takes decades, the inevitability always sets in. Just look at guys like Bruno Sammartino and Ultimate Warrior, they hated Vince McMahon's guts. Or consider Bret Hart and what went down in Montreal. Punk is destined to return one day. And it could even be for an in-ring role. He's only 36 years old. Chances are his UFC aspirations will be over and done before he's even forty. As for WWE, they have treated Punk's wife AJ Lee remarkably well since she left the company after WrestleMania 31. That's been viewed by some as a factor in WWE trying to mend bridges.
