9. Vince Blows Up

Vince McMahon ended the show by solemnly walking past members of the WWE roster. McMahon went out to his limo in the parking lot only for it to explode with him in it. The next week on Raw, they acted like Vince was dead with his daughter Stephanie ending the show by telling fans to tune in to Raw the following week for a celebration of her dad. The plan was to hold a mock, three-hour long funeral for Vince, with celebrity guests and superstar eulogies. Then the Benoit tragedy happened and Vince was forced to come out of hiding and address it. The 'who killed Vince?' storyline was dropped, out of respect for those who had actually died. On the August 6 episode of Raw Vince said he faked his own death just to see what people really thought about him.
