9. Bayley
Bayley has had a tremendous year, earning her first championship since joining the WWE, when she overcame Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn for the NXT Women's Title in what has been dubbed by many as one of the year's greatest match-ups. She's stood her ground since then, taking on all comers, including Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss and Eva Marie. Now, the question is when will the square be completed? When will the final member of the Four Horsewomen make her name known on Monday Night Raw? Fans of Bayley wanted to see her alongside her fellow NXT-innovators when the "Divas Revolution" began back in July, but those plans fell through pretty much immediately, likely for the better. However, while Bayley is doing incredibly well in NXT, it may not be long before Vinnie Mac decides to cash in on her popularity. All you have to do is watch the product to know that Bayley is as beloved as they come in the WWE, she has support from people of all walks of life in that audience, and the merchandise sales (not to mention the amount of it that exists) speak for itself. Bayley could be big money for the WWE. Bayley certainly portrays an outlandish character; an over-the-top friendly individual with a love for hugs, however she has shown such depth to her character through emotion and the occasional, albeit rare, displays of aggression. With this ability to evoke a response from the audience, you'd have to hope that upon debuting, she'd be given a real opportunity and not go down the unfortunate road that led someone as talented as Emma straight back to Full Sail. Should Bayley get called up this year, you have to believe she'll create some buzz for a Divas division that sorely needs it.
