Its unknown at this point whether Daniel Bryan, one of the most popular wrestlers in the world in 2014, will be making a full-time return to the ring. Weve heard rumours about a possible role as a trainer or an announcer instead of an active performer, despite Bryan himself being convinced of his perfect health in recent months. It is decision time for both he and WWE, and whether they draw the conclusion that Bryans in-ring career is over, or he comes back to win the big one once again, Daniel Bryan is surely going to make an impact in the New Year. First of all, if he comes back in time for WrestleMania, then WWE is going to have to consider implementing him into the main event. The fans adore Bryan, as we saw at the last two Royal Rumble events, so if they want WrestleMania 32 to be as big as first-planned, putting Daniel Bryan in a huge spot on the card could benefit them. Apart from that, they could always do what Bryan himself suggested, stick the Intercontinental Title back on him and make him a Smackdown-exclusive performer to add more draw to the show. On the flip-side, if Bryan is forced to retire, theyll need to start establishing some of the mid-card talent more than they have. There are few babyfaces that would believably hold water in the WWE Championship picture, mainly because their booking prevents them from looking worthy enough, and the only babyfaces that seem to get the rub are the ones that fans are split down the middle on. Fans need someone to route for all the way, and if Bryan announces his retirement, WWE will be forced to push its younger talent. If they don't, theyll be creating big problems for themselves in the future. Whatever happens with Bryan, the fallout will be big. Hopefully it won't be long before we get confirmation on his status.
