It would be wasteful not to spend a moment paying tribute to Carmella, Becky Lynch and Charlotte's touching tribute to their friend Natalya Neidhart ahead of the triple threat itself.

A steward of the division before her move to Monday Night Raw in the spring, Nattie's Father Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart passed away this this week - all three wore pink variants of their traditional attire presumably as an act of solidarity to their road sister, and as a mark respect to a fallen Great Man.

The match itself was a touch less graceful, with sloppy spots just about sticking the match together as the company followed the typically irritating Triple Threat formula with the three. Charlotte snatching victory away from Becky was important to facilitate Lynch's post-match shakedown of 'The Queen'. But nobody seemed to pass the memo on to the fans, as yet another babyface had to go to the dark side simply because the company can't handle hope.

If nothing else, it all serves as a delicately-poised warning for Bayley and countless others that are organically successful heroes - get practicing for your shambolic collapse.
