In 2004, the WWE did a storyline that implied Kane had raped Lita. It goes without saying, this was extremely distasteful. Lita had spurned his advances, only to later reveal that she was pregnant with his child. It isn't exactly the sort of gig that a pro wrestler wants to have. Even worst, Lita eventually 'miscarried' the baby after a push from Snitsky, with the storyline then being that Kane and Lita later teamed up to challenge Snitsky. You know, to avenge their dead child which had originally been conceived against Lita's wishes. Storylines like this must have posed some moral problems to Kane. Imagine when that's your role in the company, the heel who impregnated a diva against her wishes. He can't have been happy with that.
