NXT aired a really moving vignette about Finn Balor where he mentioned how he'd always left a promotion in a better place than when he arrived. He said he wanted to do the same with NXT, and then with WWE... The way the whole vignette was shot it looked like the sort of farewell angle we've seen time and time again. This is surprising as Finn has reportedly knocked back an offer to move to the main roster in recent times, citing how happy he was working for what is still considered as WWE's developmental territory. Has he had a pretty sudden change of heart? Or are the powers that be forcing his hand? Maybe this is why his title match with Apollo Crews is next week. Maybe he could be dropping the title and moving on...
