20 Worst Wrestling PPVs Of All Time

18. WWE Great American Bash 2004

Many cite Armageddon as WWE's worst show of 2004, but that year's Great American Bash narrowly edges it out. While nothing on the card was as egregiously bad as Armageddon's Daniel Puder vs. The Miz boxing match, the '04 GAB was an absolute stinker, and not even a set of quality matches between Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero, and JBL and Eddie Guerrero could save it.

This show was just a chore to get through. As iconic as the bloody image of Eddie and JBL's brutal bullrope match has become, the card was propped-up by pointless, heatless midcard matches like Billy Gunn vs. Kenzo Suzuki and Charlie Haas vs. Luther Reigns. Such clashes might be accepted on weekly television, but not on a PPV, and they had fans preying before the end long before the main event.

Speaking of which, the night's last match saw The Undertaker handily defeat WWE Tag Team Champions The Dudley Boyz in a two-on-one handicap match. Great way to show your tag champs' worth, WWE. If that wasn't bad enough, though, the post-match saw 'Taker "kill" Paul Bearer in a tomb of cement, drawing unfavourable comparisons to WCW's darkest days, and closing out WWE's half-year on a dismal note.
