Long term fans may remember this, but so many of WWE's current audience have no idea that Kane once wrestled as a crazy dentist. A sixteen year old WWE fan today, wouldn't even have been alive when the masked Kane debuted, so the name Isaac Yankem is unlikely to register any memory. Isaac Yankem DDS was what Glenn Jacobs debuted in the WWF as, with the story that he was Jerry Lawler's private dentist. His debut match was against Bret Hart, and given his huge height, he really should have been a star from the off. Unfortunately, with a gimmick like a dentist, Jacobs struggled to get over in his first couple of years with WWF. He was probably worrying about his future, given the limited appeal of his role.
