From insulting to really insulting, Toronto's crowd were quick to go from reminding Goldberg that he can still work to blaming him for the 'Montreal Screwjob'. Big Bill wasn't even there, he was much too busy squashing someone in WCW when the 1997 Survivor Series was on.
Chanting, 'You Screwed Bret' at Goldberg is like shouting, 'You Killed Kenny' to a member of The Simpsons cast. If...if they were real people, but that's besides the point.
Of course, those loving fans were referring to Goldberg battering Bret with an errant kick at WCW's Starrcade 1999. He didn't screw him though, did he? He injured him.
