25 'WWE Superstars' Matches That Were Actually Awesome
5. Dolph Ziggler vs. Cesaro (August 30, 2013)
It is interesting to note that one of the greatest matches in the five year history of 'WWE Superstars' didn't take place when the show was still a considered a priority by WWE. It actually occurred the relatively recent August 30, 2013 edition. Fresh off his victory over Big E and AJ Lee in mixed tag team at SummerSlam, Dolph Ziggler was riding a wave of momentum. Cesaro, on the other hand, had just joined forces with Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger in an attempt to revitalize his career. Ziggler and Cesaro clashed in singles competition only once before, so this was a fresh match that would guarantee greatness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehEngP1gEn8 With The Real Americans in his corner, Cesaro put up one heck of a fight against Ziggler. Ziggler held nothing back and instead gave Cesaro his all. The two worked so well together, it was almost as if they were sending a message to the people in the back that they deserved to be on Raw. After exciting nine minute matchup, Cesaro shockingly secured the victory in clean fashion following a Neutralizer on Ziggler. If their upcoming Intercontinental Championship match is half as good as this encounter, fans will be in for a real treat come Hell in a Cell.
