3 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 10)

Downs...

3. Not Their Best Work

Nyla Rose Ruby Soho
AEW

AEW obviously wanted to spotlight Nyla Rose as a threat before she faces Ruby Soho in the TBS tourney semi finals, but this six-woman tag was a tad messy at times. Everyone also looked like they were on the same level too, which kinda sh*ts all over that prior point.

That's not great when Ruby was previously presented as a major get for the promotion coming in. Now, she's lost in the shuffle and (temporarily, at least) playing second fiddle to Rose. Being brutally honest, this writer has never really liked it when Nyla is near the top of the food chain in this division; she's up there with Riho as someone from the "bad old days" for women in AEW.

There were a few flubs in here, and it was blatantly obvious that every single spot was tightly scripted. That's fine if the workers involved can make things look natural, but...that wasn't the case on Rampage. Dunno' - it feels harsh to dump all over this so much, and yet it just didn't click for this fan.

Some others may feel differently, which is cool.
