3 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 10)

2. “One More Time, Sting!”

FTR Sting Tully Blanchard
AEW

Surely not.

Surely, AEW aren't about to put Tully Blanchard and Sting in the same ring together to close out 2021. This guy is a mark for that old school NWA/WCW vibe running through some of All Elite's product, but nobody really needs to see Tully exchange fisticuffs with the Stinger these days.

That does seem to be where things are headed however. Blanchard's FTR ambushed Sting and Darby Allin backstage, then Tully uttered his, "One more time, Sting" line. Man, putting Blanchard vs. Sting on TV could be a disaster, so it's much more likely this will be some sort of six-man tag.

Of course, that means Sting and Allin need to find a partner. It's either that or they go into a three-on-two handicap situation opposite the heels. That could work, but only if Tully's in-ring spots are kept to a bare minimum. This ain't 1986, people.

Consider this dude concerned.
