3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Mar 25)

1. Brock Lesnar’s Shift

This writer gets a kick out of the way Brock Lesnar goes from light-hearted to absolute mauler. He's also digging the way Roman Reigns is starting to cower from Brock after realising he went too far at that MSG house show. It's all very, very natural between this pair.

Their WrestleMania match will be tons of fun if WWE just lets them go hell for leather.

No, they didn't get their hands on one another properly during this episode of SmackDown, but segments involving both were intense and impactful. They've got the right mix of comedy (Lesnar breaking Roman's coffee table with his feet was "good sh*t, pal") and violence (the aforementioned house show blood angle).

Unlike Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair, Roman and Lesnar are good enough on the mic to progress their story without even touching. That's something WWE must be grateful for. Of course, they'll rumble again before 'Mania, and this guy can't wait.
