31 Wrestlers & Staff WWE Just Released

Honourable Mention: Producers/Agents/Trainers

Take a deep breath.

Numerous sources, including The Wrestling Observer, reported that WWE put no less than nine producers and other staff on furlough for the foreseeable. Shane Helms, Lance Storm, Dave Finlay, Mike Rotunda, Billy Kidman, Pat Buck, Shawn Daivari, Scott Armstrong and Sarah Stock were all placed on the government scheme on Wednesday evening.

Of those listed, it's Helms, Storm, Finlay, Rotunda and Kidman who stand out the most. They'd worn multiple hats in WWE for years, and they'll be sorely missed as sounding boards for talent backstage. All five of them have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to experience on the mic and inside the ring.

Elsewhere, creative team member Andrea Listenberger (responsible for the ongoing Otis and Mandy Rose storyline) has also been let go. It's a sad say for pro wrestling, no doubts about it.
