4 Ups & 11 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 22)

Downs…

11. Foreshadowing With A Sledgehammer

Never let it be said that WWE won’t make it painfully obvious what you should be paying attention to at certain times. Bianca Belair came out and name-dropped Doudrop during her pre-match promo, which all but guaranteed that the superstar would show up before the segment was over.

Sure enough, Belair quickly dispatched with Tamina for the second straight week, only for Natalya to jump her and get tossed, only for Doudrop to topple Bianca and flatten her with a splash. The match was crap, Nattie’s attack was rubbish, and Doudrop’s appearance was entirely predictable.

That doesn’t make it bad, and this really isn’t a terrible direction, but they’re going to need to really show fans something here beyond what we’ve gotten so far. Doudrop turned heel but is still running around with that same dance music and dumb name, and her reasoning for attacking Belair is kinda flimsy at best.

Look WWE, we really want to like this feud. Bianca is great, and Piper Niven is solid. Don’t turn this into a crap rivalry to fill time.
