4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (March 15 - Results & Review)

1. Deonna Purrazzo’s Pick

Generally, Rampage shines when Tony Khan remembers that it's a vehicle for stories that didn't get much house room on his other two shows. That's why it was so great to see Deonna Purrazzo announce her mystery tag-team partner on Friday night. AEW could've just waited for Collision to do this, but Tony elected to give Rampage some gusto.

What a smart move.

Purrazzo chose none other than Thunder Rosa as back up too, which proved popular with the live crowd in attendance for these tapings. A tag match or two between those women and the team of Toni Storm and Mariah May should keep things burning long enough for All Elite to reach Destiny for another Women's Title showdown.

Toni and Deonna obviously have some unfinished business following the finish to their clash at Revolution. Fingers crossed the coming tag bouts and that second title match improve on their last pay-per-view effort. Good match-into-angle work from all concerned here.
