3. Up - Passing The Torch

Next up was Bayley, who was understandably disappointed after her loss to Asuka. Bayley spoke about how the greatest win of her career came in Brooklyn last year when she defeated Sasha Banks for the NXT Women's Championship, and she really wanted to repeat it this year, but she just couldn't. Still, she was grateful to the fans for their continued support.

Bayley was approached by Ember Moon, who had made her NXT debut earlier in the evening with a victory over Billie Kay. Moon congratulated Bayley for her performance, and told her just how much the former Women's Champion's tenure with the brand meant to her. Moon said that Bayley was an inspiration to her, and Bayley responded by mentioning how impressed she was with Moon's debut. The interview ended with Bayley saying that maybe the two of them could have a TakeOver match down the line.

After watching TakeOver, it's clear that Ember Moon is going to be the next major star in the Women's division - she'll probably be the woman to unseat Asuka as champion. Getting this torch-passing moment from the exiting star of the brand was an important transition.
