4 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (12 Jan)

Downs...

4. Switch These Up

If the paid advertisements from Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone are to continue post-Hard To Kill, then they desperately need to change things up.

These ads aren't necessarily terrible - they just follow the same pattern week after week. Schiavone runs down the card for that particular week's edition of AEW Dynamite (this edition being the first since last Wednesday's reformation of Bullet Club), while Khan takes every dig possible at Impact Wrestling, despite their rise back to prominence over the past few years. The digs feel far too cheap. Ironic, really, that they're coming from a billionaire.

It's worth noting that Khan invited Don Callis and last week's debutants The Good Brothers back to Jacksonville for night two of New Year's Smash tonight, not that there was ever any doubt, of course. It feels as if this working relationship of sorts will be continuing after Saturday's pay-per-view, and thus, the advertisements need to change.

All props to the two Tonys for being continuously entertaining, anyway.
