Ups...

4. Alexa & Lash Do A Lot With Little Time

For every negative, at least SmackDown had a positive.

Alexa Bliss and Lash Legend had to sprint through their match, but both women maximised those precious few minutes. Personally, this guy has no problems with Lash getting the win over Alexa to help establish her on the main roster. The bout was short and sweet, which isn't a problem. Not every match needs to be 10-15 mins minimum to be considered strong.

Nia Jax poked her nose in to keep her relevant too, and Charlotte Flair ate a delicious pump kick from Legend at ringside. Credit to Charlotte for bumping like Curt Hennig in his prime on that one. Talk about maximising your minutes; Flair maximised her seconds there. No, not many liked the women's WarGames stuff, but the past few weeks of women’s tag division action has been decent.

There's a sense that WWE could be building to some tasty matches here. You've got Alexa and Charlotte as a solid team, Nia and Lash doing their best to gel, there's IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley in the mix, and that's before even getting to reigning champs Asuka and Kairi Sane over on Raw. Any combo of these duos could produce good matches, which is a real plus.

Lash could use a few more bouts like this, especially if she comes out on the winning end. Eventually, she'll gain so much confidence that she'll ditch Nia (unlikely babyface run incoming for Jax?), but that's a while away yet. For now, just keep her simmering against veterans like Bliss. It'll work.
