4 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (June 4)

Downs...

6. 50/50-ish

Cody Rhodes Anthony Ogogo QT Marshall
AEW

QT Marshall picking up a win over Cody Rhodes sounds weird.

After Cody beat Anthony Ogogo at Double Or Nothing, one expected the feud to continue. However, this was maybe the laziest way to make that happen. Put it this way: Ogogo should've just beaten Cody on pay-per-view if the plan was to go 50/50 with a twist come the next week's Dynamite.

Presenting Ogogo as a sneaky opportunist rather than an in-your-face ex-boxer who isn't afraid of anyone might not be for the best. Why the hell did QT get the pin in this tag match instead of Anthony? Do AEW really think Marshall should be presented on an even keel with someone like Cody?

So many questions, not enough answers. People rag on certain other companies for 50/50 booking all the time, so it's only fair that AEW gets the same treatment. Ogogo knocking Rhodes out with a meaty right hook was what they should've done last Sunday.
