4 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (June 4)

4. Anyone But Sting

This fan has been pretty worried about Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page since they were programmed with Sting and Darby Allin pre-Double Or Nothing. The fear that they'd be swept aside for a nostalgia pop was very real, and that's exactly what happened on the pay-per-view.

Here, Sky and Page congratulated Sting on his resurgence, but challenged Allin to find another tag partner to face them. Eh? So, the heels concede that they can't beat a 62-year old part-timer, but believe Darby and *insert worker here* would have no chance against them?

Positioning Allin as the weak point of his duo is not a good plan.

Also, when Darby and his stand-in pal inevitably beat the cocky pricks, they'll look weak too. It doesn't seem like AEW has thought this one through at all. If anything, they're making everyone else look inferior to Sting right now.
