Sonya Deville turning Miz TV into a singles match, then the singles match into a tag match, would elicit eye-rolls in many cases, but not this one. Both bouts born of the authority figure's unseen intervention hit the spot.

Damian Priest and John Morrison worked the kind of match you'd expect from them, with added Miz on the outside. Working at a middling clip, they built to a series of kickouts after Morrison missed Starship Pain, fitting the house style by bringing out the big bombs before South of Heaven scored Priest his win.

Sheamus attacked after the bell, seeking revenge for the previous week's loss to Priest. Cue: Ricochet, who, as is often the case, made things infinitely more exciting. His involvement in the ensuing tag team match energised what could have been a totally skippable television match and springboard Moonsaulting to the outside neutralised Sheamus, clearing the way for Priest to fell Morrison.

Light and breezy, this two-match segment was a much-needed hoot on a struggling show.
