5 Best Interviews In Power Slam Magazine History

1. Diamond Dallas Page - Issue 44 (1998)

Before he was renowned for helping legends battle their demons and dishing out yoga tips, DDP was known for handing out Diamond Cutters in WCW. Page spoke to PS in early 1998 and not only was he candid and honest about his career, but he also threw in more swear words during the interview than any previous star that had appeared in the magazine.

Martin remembers DDP making a bold prediction that would come true: €œHe predicted Goldberg would be the next big thing and this is before he was the next big thing€ Page seemed excited about the position and direction of WCW and what the future could hold for him and the company in general.

Fin fondly remembers Dallas not being shy to self-promote during the interview and put himself over: €œWe all know Page is a great self-promoter and he was no different here but he didn€™t hit you over the head with it, either€.

DDP covered a variety of topics and wasn€™t afraid to be asked any tough questions about his career or the company, making it one of Fin€™s favourite interviews to this day.
