It was announced that WWE Network will air on channel 512 for Rogers customers with digital TV. That's the area on the dial where the other sports and Sportsnet channels are in HD. Fans will be able to find it pretty easily if they are searching for sports content. The reason this is a significant move is because in the US there were some fans that were probably confused about how to access WWE Network. When people hear that name they likely assumed it was a channel on their television, but it is not. You need internet access to get it. It's simpler for people if it's on their television lineup. For a customer to access the channel, all they have to do is put it to 512 (if you have Rogers), then click a button or call a number to access it and you'll be charged for it every month on your bill. It's quick and easy. Canada will be the first country to have WWE Network on regular television. In a lot of ways it will be a guinea pig for WWE because they will have to test it out first, but assuming there are no problems it will be the model for what WWE hopes to have in other countries too. This is a step in the right direction for WWE, the future of WWE Network and for wrestling fans in Canada.
