5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (23 Oct - Results & Review)

3. Why Didn’t Tiffany Cash In Anyway?

Sure, Raquel Rodriguez dragged Liv Morgan out of the ring, and Roxanne Perez was there too, but Liv was ripe for the pickings and Stratton had backup to help. There was nothing really stopping her from cashing in MITB and winning the Women's World Title. Nothing at all.

Hopefully, we don’t get more teases this clumsily handled. Also, WWE needs to quit it with the age old trope of pretending the ring ropes are some impenetrable fortress. They won't, but it'd be nice to see some switched on babyface realise that they could simply exit the squared circle and go get the foe they've been hunting down.

Yes, this is a minor ‘Down’ for sure, but one worth mentioning. There's a higher chance of Tiffy cashing in on Chelsea Green following a "shock" heel turn than there is of her cashing in the briefcase on Liv, so we don't need tease after tease to get there. Further, when are we actually gonna press play on a Judgment Day split?!

That story is right there waiting to happen. Perez and Raquel would have ample reasons to give Morgan the cold shoulder, but WWE doesn't seem particularly interested in running with that. Thus, Liv is in real danger of spinning her wheels during this title reign...yet again.

Stratton looked a wee bit like an idiot for taking so long to cash in her case. That's another annoying thing this company does with faces who hold MITB. They're so slow on the uptake, and they let easy opportunities slide on past.
