2. R-Truth Is Sinking

So, let's recap R-Truth's recent booking.

He’s gone from being released to making a huge impact at Money In The Bank and going after John Cena, to...potentially being a speed bump for Aleister Black on the midcard. That's quite the fall for someone who is screaming into the void to anyone who'll listen about getting his hands on Cena once again. How long until Truth starts reverting to type and going the comedy road?

Personally, this writer likes that Black is actually showing some personality and has some sense of direction (more on that in the 'Ups' section), but you’ve got to feel proper sorry for Truth here. Triple H tried to claim bringing him back was all part of some grand plan (it wasn't) that fooled everybody into thinking they could tell WWE what to do. If so, then he surely had something bigger in mind for Ron Killings than this.

The dude looked like a total loser during last week's episode of SmackDown, and that bled over into the Saudi trip as well. There are only so many times he can hit the ring with his hood up, pull it down, cut a fiery promo then get laid out before fans start to lose interest. Tragically, it seems WWE's creative team already has.

Good on Truth for getting paid and snagging himself another contract, but he's getting clowned whilst trying to play a serious character. Next stop: Aleister squashing him en route to a much higher profile feud with Damian Priest. Hold on tight, Mr. Killings.
