5 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (Fb 28)

1. A Sleeper Of A Dream Match

Regardless of Edge’s face/heel status, the Rated-R Superstar facing AJ Styles at WrestleMania 38 is a huge match that could deliver a classic. It could be a sleeper for match of the night.

AJ remains one of the best workers on the planet, and Edge is a master in the ring. Throw in some clever booking (but not too much overbooking) and you’ve got the makings of a really fun, really enjoyable wrestling match. There really isn’t much to add to that.

The storytelling that’s going to take place during the next four weeks with Edge’s heel turn could be really good, or it could be brutal. If it’s good stuff, it’ll only add to the drama of the feud and build the match up more. If it sucks, it’ll be ignored in hindsight and WWE will only talk about the in-ring classic they hopefully have.

As noted, we’re giving a tentative down to the heel turn until we get a decent story to back it up, but that could easily shift next week.
