Quick, what is the Wild Card Rule™ limit again?

Answer: Who cares? Clearly, WWE doesn’t.

Supposedly, only four superstars can show up on the opposing show each week. That’s the “rule” part of the Wild Card Rule. But Monday night, we saw a slew of SmackDown superstars invade Raw, and no matter how you count them, they exceeded the limit.

Count them: Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Dolph Ziggler, Shane McMahon, Roman Reigns, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay and R-Truth.

Even if you count the IIconics as one unit, ignore Ziggler because he might still be a Raw wrestler and discard Shane because he’s a McMahon, that’s still five SmackDown superstars showing up on Raw. The mental gymnastics you have to do is just insane.

Meanwhile, the Usos, Revival, Samoa Joe, Robert Roode, Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins, and Viking Raiders were either invisible or never sniffed the ring.
