5 Ups And 2 Downs From WCPW Loaded Episode 7

5. Down - Telegraphing The Finish

Damien Sandow Adam Blampied
Oli Sandler/The Ringside Perspective

Adam Blampied was shown backstage, confined to a wheelchair after Aron Stevens's attack on him the week before. Big Damo was there, as was another man whose face was off camera. Still, it was clear that it was James R. Kennedy, as he was wearing white pants, and Blampied made a crack about a "prospective" alliance.

Later in the show, Aron Stevens was cutting a promo when Joe Hendry walked by. Stevens quickly grabbed Hendry and asked him if he would do him a favor - since he knew that Blampied was planning something for the title match, he wanted Hendry to have his back. "The Local Hero" agreed.

While both of those segments did a good job of building up the main event, they also telegraphed that it was going to be full of run-ins. Unfortunately, if early TNA has taught us anything, overbooked matches like that usually mean that the babyface is getting screwed over. It would have been more effective to just present the match without giving anything away.
