5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 19)

3. Braun Prevails, But Not Easily

Braun Strowman Cesaro

After winning a tag team battle royal single-handedly and illustrating how big of a joke the Raw tag division is, Braun Strowman earned a tag title shot against The Bar at WrestleMania.

He fought Cesaro in a one-on-one match Monday night, and won (obviously), but he didn’t outright squash the Swiss Cyborg. Braun was never in jeopardy, but Cesaro definitely hung in there, taking Strowman off his feet at one point.

What that subtly did was show that while Braun can beat the tag champs in head-to-head competition, he might not fare that well against both at the same time. Sure, he very easily could still win, but we’d bet that next week, they’ll have The Bar attack Strowman, showing he actually needs someone watching his back, even if it’s just for a second.
