6. Tag Champs Say Nothing

The union of Woken Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt looked to offer fans something different, perhaps something fun and unique.

Instead, since the duo won the tag titles in April, they’ve pretty much been relegated to their entrance and a few matches – and little else. But Monday, they had an in-ring interview with Renee Young. Unfortunately, they didn’t say anything of consequence. Wyatt talked about lust for power, and how their opponents would be facing woken warriors. Hardy repeated his line about his and Bray’s essences traveling through space and time to meet again.

In the end, they said nothing new that they haven’t been saying for months now. It was an opportunity to do something, but they just dropped the ball and the segment fell flat.
