5 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (April 20th)
3. Sheamus Owns Being A Bully
Remember WWEs Be A STAR campaign from a couple years back? One of the biggest parts of those vignettes was seeing Sheamus talking about being bullied and how it wasnt cool. Fast-forward to the present, and a Mohawk-wearing Celtic Warrior is throwing his weight around, attacking wrestlers while declaring that hes the only real man in WWE. Sheamus took it to new levels Monday, cheap-shotting Zack Ryder and then proceeding to commentate on the microphone during his entire beatdown of the Woo Woo Woo Kid. That kind of disrespect and bullying actually works really well for Sheamus, as he got a genuine reaction from the crowd. That is much better than the apathy he was greeted with prior to his hiatus last fall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jzL1aOWs0c Seeing Sheamus embrace this new persona gives hope that he can work as a top-flight heel in the coming months. With Brock Lesnar off television for the foreseeable future, WWE needs a couple tough guys to run roughshod a little.
