UPS…

5. Faces Play Numbers Game

It’s rare to see situations where babyfaces have the numbers in their favor – then use that to their advantage.

But that’s what we got Monday night when Kevin Owens squared off against Seth Rollins. The Monday Night Messiah’s crony Austin Theory has been absent the last couple weeks, and Murphy ate a Black Mass in the previous match and then disappeared, leaving Rollins in a 4-on-1 situation. Rey Mysterio, Aleister Black and Dominik Mysterio were on the outside, and they capitalized.

With Owens reeling from an eye rake, Rey, Aleister and Dominik climbed up on the apron one at a time to distract Rollins, giving KO time to recover and hit a Stunner for the win.

We just see this all that often, so it was great to see Rollins outnumbered and have the faces use that in a way you really only see heels get a distraction win. It was a nice change of pace.
