One can only hope that this doesnt come to fruition, but after losing the NXT Tag Team Championships and the rematch, could the rumors that Kalisto is going to be unmasked and recast upon us? Rumors have circulated recently that Kalisto has been trying out a new gimmick as a gay hairdresser and the higher-ups liked it. With the Lucha Dragons losing their tag titles and then being defeated in the rematch at Rival, there really isnt much of a storyline left for the duo. The announcers even made multiple mentions about how Sin Cara has been enjoying some singles success on Raw and Smackdown lately, perhaps signaling his departure from NXT. If that happens and Kalisto unmasks and picks up scissors and a brush, WWE will officially be taking several steps backward since their public support of Darren Young when he came out as gay last year. This all of course could just be a wild rumor it wouldnt be the first time the internet wrestling community got waylaid by a rumor. But it would be highly disappointing to see an entertaining young wrestler get saddled with a gimmick that might be funny at times but ultimately is just offensive in 2015.
