5 Ways WWE's Actually Better Without A Crowd

2. You Can Better Form Your Own Opinion

I have to hold my hands up here, there have been times when I've watched a wrestling match (both live and broadcast) where I've been really hot on what I'm seeing, noticed that the crowd weren't taking to it at all, and started to doubt myself. Likewise, there have been times I've been convinced something sucked, but reconsidered upon seeing everyone else lose their minds.

It's human nature to be drawn into following a herd. I'd like to think that all the hot-takes on pro-wrestling, all my favourite matches, all my favourite performers, all the criticisms I've leveled against an event, spot or worker are entirely my own, but they're no doubt coloured by the responses they garnered from those in attendance.

Admittedly, it's not a groundbreaking observation this, and I gleefully look forward to the day when the live crowd are dragging our opinions kicking and screaming in confusing new different directions, but I know categorically what I made of everything on Raw this week. The tag match was excellent, the Black squash was dreadful, and AJ styles saying "bone" was really funny.
