50 Best Wrestlers Of The 2020s (So Far)

43. Nathan Frazer

Nathan Frazer
WWE

Before becoming one half of NXT and now WWE’s most consistently exhilarating tag team, Nathan Frazer made his name by doing what's harder for young international wrestlers to do than ever before - generate more buzz than his peers with nothing but in-ring brilliance.

As Ben Carter, he made waves on the independent scene before taking his hybrid high-flying style to pandemic-era AEW in 2020. He took just handful of matches to turned heads. Then in TNA, he did the same. It was enough to have multiple major promotions chasing him, and it was WWE that ultimately got their man when, somewhat divisively at the time, he admitted that signing with the market leader had been his ultimate goal.

There were multiple points early into his NXT run where it appeared as though he might have booted the ball into his own net, but his abilities forced the bad ideas out of the way until a good one came along. His pairing with Axiom was just that. It wasn’t just about filling time or delivering bangers (although they did that in spades), Fraxiom became one of the best tag acts of 2024/25, with a never-ending split-tease story underpinning their momentum. The speed, the chemistry and the shock title defences all carried the slow, subtle thrum of betrayal.

It revealed a further string to Frazer's bow; he might look like your next white meat babyface, but he wrestles and talks like someone you desperately want to see humbled. His innate cockiness - visible even mid-moonsault - has become the emotional engine of Fraxiom’s slow-burn implosion. If he threads that needle successfully, he'll race up the card just as quickly as he makes it to the ring.
