50 Best Wrestlers Of The 2020s (So Far)

42. Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan
WWE

Liv Morgan’s rise in the 2020s has been the definition of long-term payoff for promotion and performer – a case of persistence, fan connection, and gradual refinement turning potential into proven main event value. Once viewed as a likeable underdog with flashes of charisma but a ceiling that seemed destined to remain low, Liv spent the early part of the decade quietly improving every aspect of her game, before her breakout moment finally came in 2024.

It was after a prior title run flattered to deceive and she looked to have ran out of road as a babyface that Morgan evolved into an all-rounder and Monday Night Raw's top heel. Entangled with The Judgement Day and Dominik Mysterio during Rhea Ripley's absence, her promo work sharpened, her timing tightened, and her presence in big matches became natural rather than aspirational.

Her rivalries with Becky Lynch and Nia Jax yielded multiple great matches, the programme itself with Ripley helped fold Raquel Rodriguez back into the mix in a way that utilised Morgan's rub while her star was still rising, and her willingness to commit to the bit made her 2025 Elimination Chamber appearance the best in a decade full of high quality ons.

Morgan isn't a future star anymore - she's one of the 2020s’ most complete and consistently over WWE Superstars, as evidenced by the hole in the company that was left by a June 2025 injury. Multiple storylines suffered for her absence, highlighting just how vital a cog she'd become. The table is set for her next chapter as a babyface too - if for nothing else by force of will from an audience desperate to cheer her again.
