4. Ember's Revenge, Kai's Ascension

Raw's fantastic women's division has become the Revolution's gold standard, but NXT's isn't far behind, and the group had another strong week.

It started with Dakota Kai vs. Lacey Evans. The latter has been talking a whole lot of s*** lately, giving the impression that she's set for a bigger push, but Kai had her beaten in a minute. A simple roll-up caught Evans off-guard, and that was that. A much needed victory for Dakota, and it works to Lacey's obnoxious heel character too, giving her some material to work with on her next appearance.

Shayna Baszler came out afterwards, looking to attack the victorious Kai. This was a great callback to an interaction earlier in the year when 'The Queen Of Spades' injured the New Zealand native's arm. Baszler's prey was spared, though, as Ember Moon soon appeared.

The duo worked a great brawl, with Kai saving the NXT Women's Champion by the end, allowing her to down Shayna with the Eclipse. A great visual, particularly as the two are now set to meet at TakeOver: New Orleans, and here's hoping Dakota's involvement means a bigger push is in her immediate future. She's more than talented enough.
