6 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling Emergence 2020 (Part 2)

5. Most Professional Rollup

Coming into part two of Emergence, Brian Myers was a talking point of sorts, as he interrupted Willie Mack's interview time with Jimmy Jacobs last week to direct some words towards his former employer. This time around, however, he was on a mission to prove to everyone why he was more than just a good pair of hands at the expense of one Willie Mack.

In terms of the styles both competitors use in the ring, they're somewhat similar in that they both bring numerous weapons with them. Both can be calculated combatants, before flipping it 180 degrees to fly around the ring endlessly. Here, we saw the vicious side of Willie that we've been introduced to as of late, with some strong strikes to 'The Prince of Queens' rattling throughout the empty Impact Zone. If there's any good to come from having no fans in attendance, it's the increased sound quality of a stiff smack to the jaw.

Myers scored the win with a rollup from behind, adding in a hold of 'Chocolate Thunder's' trunks for good measure. It's not the biggest win Myers could have had, and it was far from the best match on the card this week, but it did what it set out to accomplish. 'The Most Professional Wrestler' is finally being talked about for all the good reasons as opposed to how many matches he's lost in a row.
