6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Clash In Paris 2025 (Results & Review)

4. Bronson Reed’s Competitiveness

Roman Reigns is very high on both Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. He'd likely edge towards Breakker a little more (so would other legends), but plaudits should be dished out to the 'OTC' for bending over backwards to give Reed a lot during their opener in Paris. It felt important that Bronson had extended heat sections where he could jaw off with the crowd and really lay it in, 'cause that's how a heel builds character.

It’s already clear that Bron Breakker will be a focal point going forwards, but Reed had to look good as well. Good news: He looked like he belonged in there with one of WWE biggest stars, which is great. This match was the correct choice to open the show, if only because the French fans were thrilled to see Reigns early. You'd have thought a deity had marched into view given the reaction to his entrance.

That's what being over looks like.

Roman's matches will feel refreshing now he's left The Bloodline idea in his rearview mirror. Things were getting a tad formulaic on PLE with the 'Tribal Chief', let's be real about it. Here, nobody interfered on his behalf, and that meant he could really put his working boots on to help elevate somebody else.

Triple H must be chuffed to bits with how the match turned out. Roman looks every bit the megastar from head to toe as it is, but Bronson showed what he brings to the party by matching one of the biggest names in the biz every step of the way. Then, WWE made The Vision even more cut throat.
