1. Sami Zayn’s Selling And That Main Event

Rumour has it that Sami Zayn could sell hairspray to Steve Austin. The man just has it, and there are few in the industry as a whole who work the sympathetic babyface gig better than he does. Sami proved that yet again during a ridiculously watchable Raw main event - there, he teamed with Penta against badass duo Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Bron and Bronson beat the babyfaces to win, but it was Zayn's selling that stood out most of all. The way he cradled his ribs and worked the damage caused by an earlier Karrion Kross attack behind the curtain was phenomenal. His selling was top tier stuff. Meanwhile, the second half of the headliner (in particular) was excellent. Breakker and Reed make a fab team, Penta looked like he belonged at a high level, and Zayn looked motivated.

Also, got to give it up for WWE telling a story with the heels. Breakker and Reed got business done despite Seth Rollins high-tailing it from others and leaving the arena. That was brought up during a chat with Paul Heyman, and it made the heavies look dominant rather than like mere foot soldiers who are rudderless without their leader. They came through even without Seth's guidance.

Interesting side note there.

Jey Uso having to ride to the rescue for Sami and Penta by belting the villains with a steel chair further added to their aura. Cleverly, WWE made it 3v2 in favour of the good guys. That put across just how imposing Breakker and Reed are. Ace main event.
