Psst! Did you know that Cody Rhodes is technically still SmackDown's top babyface? If not, then don't beat yourself up too much about it. The reigning WWE Champion is rarely on the brand he's supposed to be these days. What is it with WWE and crapping all over their own Draft/Transfer Window? They literally make the rules for brand division, yet the company contradicts their own claims constantly.

On the plus side, top names like Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton were there on Friday to make life easier for SmackDown's writers. Some of the segments they penned varied in quality. Punk revealed the favour he needed from Paul Heyman ahead of the three way at WrestleMania in a fun closing skit, whilst Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton reportedly went off-script.

Things did not go well on that front.

There was more 'Mania misery for WWE too. It looks like KO is out of the show in Las Vegas, and that will have a negative knock on effect for Orton. Some out there online believe this is all part of an elaborate creative plan from Triple H, but it sure didn't seem that way when watching live on TV.

As if all of that wasn't enough, none other than Rey Fenix took his in-ring WWE bow. It'd be a lie to say his performance was lightning in a bottle like Penta's over on Raw in January, but the ex-AEW man looked fabulous nonetheless.

Here's all the good and bad.
