6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (March 8 - Results & Review)

2. Seth Rollins Accepts The Tag Challenge

Face facts: Seth Rollins had to do something to merit his inclusion in the massive situation involving The Rock, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Ol' Sethy has been fourth wheeling like nobody has fourth wheeled before up until now, so it was cracking to see him accept the tag-team match for his side.

That, if nothing else, gives Rollins some purpose in the story.

The way he interrupted Rocky like Chris Jericho circa 2001 by telling 'The Great One' to please shut the hell up was awesome as well. That's the sort of fire Seth needed to start showing when he was out there with these guys. He's the World Heavyweight Champion, for crying out loud. Having him stand around like a cardboard cutout wasn't good enough.

WWE easily could've had Cody slap a green light on the tag challenge and go from there, but he had a different kind of slap in mind for the heels anyway. It was a smart move to give Rollins this moment and remind fans he's meant to be a key part of this too.
