6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (1 Dec)

3. Undefeated Tag Overdelivers

Sting darby Allin
AEW

Like Darby Allin vs. Billy Gunn the other week, Gunn Club vs. Allin and Sting overdelivered.

This was a good little midcard match. That Billy, Colten, and Austin possess such bloated win/loss records between them has become a meme, but the Gunns were solid heel foils for the babyfaces here. Billy, limited as he is at this age, worked to his size, literally carrying Darby around the ring by his waistband at one point, while Colten plays a snivelling sh*thead well, with matches as simple and straightforward at this masking his greenness.

Sting was particularly over in Georgia, as one would expect of somebody with his history in the state. He ended up scoring the pinfall after Billy and Austin had been taken out of the equation, nailing a Scorpion Death Drop on Colten.

Unlike Sting and Darby's other matches, this wasn't anything you need to race to see. It was fine, though, and hopefully the last of this storyline.
