IMPACT Wrestling can get literally anyone over. That was proven when they made Steve Maclin – the former Steve Cutler – look like a legitimate badass.

Shown in a dimly lit room as some old-timey music played in the background, Maclin took a shot of Irish whiskey before looking directly into the camera. That’s as simple as this was. A short graphic ended the vignette perfectly.

Maclin’s debut wasn’t entirely a surprise. IMPACT themselves had teased both Maclin and former Forgotten Sons teammate Wesley Blake for Slammiversary in their latest trailer. PWInsider, meanwhile, had stated that a former WWE talent would be debuting via video package in last night’s episode, with Fightful Select later confirming that talent to be Steve Maclin. Still, his vignette has made your writer care about the former Steve Cutler.
